This family has recently given up the comforts of their lives in Southern California in order to serve the poor in Mexico City, Mexico. They have sacrificed their lives as a family (with two little girls) to live amidst the same conditions as the poor in the mountainous outskirts of Mexico City. It is there that they bring a  first-world psychology to those who would never have access to such therapeutic opportunities for human development. (Mike is a Yale graduate who can easily be making hundreds of thousands of dollars per year; however, he and his wife only charge a $10 dollar donation per hour so that they can have sufficient funds for food! Aside from this cost, they depend fully upon your financial donations for all other living expenses!). 

   
The Sullivans are fully committed toward giving children and families a personal strengthening and an interpersonal human education, which effectively combats the vicious cycle of ignorance and low self-esteem that keeps entire families in poverty for decades.

UPDATE: The family will be traveling to Honduras, Central America (the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere) in order to assist 10 different extremely poor families who are currently in need of support (both financial and emotional).

The Sullivans have been in close contact with these families for the past several years, since the time of their two years of service in Honduras in 2002. Their trip will last 2 weeks, in which they will travel to 5 distinct towns within Honduras.

These poor families are presently in desperate need of a much overdue visit of hope and love. It will be a difficult trip, taking two little girls, traveling in buses throughout the country, and enduring the cold winter, with cold water and mosquitoes as well.

The Sullivans need your financial backing in order make this trip possible, safe, and smooth. The total cost of this 2 week journey will be $3,500 US dollars.

All monies received beyond this amount will be utilized specifically for the Honduran families for food staples, for much-needed clothing, for household items, and for educational resources.
Each donor will receive a personally hand-written letter of thanks with a photo of the impacted individual or family.

Foster Child Dream PROgram

We are currently developing our "Foster Child Dream Program."  APe Action aims to help the foster youth in America by giving them an opportunity to apply for help in attaining their dreams.  Our goal is to provide the youth with certain funds and sponsorship so they can attain their goals whether it be through tennis lessons, music,  dance, art,  computer classes, and other subjects.  


Meet Benjamin Gold and his dog Jeffrey! 

Benjamin is in our Foster Child Dream Program. We are in need of full sponsorship to help Benjamin continue to live his dream of showing his best friend Jeffery at competitions in hopes of one day showing in the Westminster Dog Show

If you saw his appearance at our event, you will know this young man has the talent to make his dreams come true with our help.  Ben and Jeffrey recently competed in a show and won first place, this win moves Ben up to Open Jr's. He needs 5 win's to be invited to Eukeneba and he has to have a 3.0 grade point average.  Ben needs 10 first place win's to be invited to Westminster! With sponsorship we can help Ben and Jeffrey with their entry fees, gas money, hotels and food when traveling to shows.
